necessary ingredients

Besan 1 bowl
Yogurt 1 bowl
1 onion (finely chopped)
tomato puree 1 cup
cumin 1 tsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
garam masala 1 tsp
Coriander Powder 1 tsp
bay leaf 1
Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
green coriander a little
Celery 1 tsp
Oil – 2 tbsp
salt to taste

Gatte Vegetable Recipe

To make Gatte ki sabzi, first put gram flour in a bowl. Then add salt, turmeric, chili powder, coriander powder, carom seeds, cumin and one spoon oil to the gram flour and mix it well with your hands. Now add half a bowl of curd to this mixture and mix it well. Now prepare hard dough by adding water as required.

Now make 3-4 balls of it and prepare it in a roll-like shape. Now put 2 liters of water in a pan and keep it warm. Once the water is hot, put the rolls in the water and let it boil for 5 minutes on high flame. After some time when the roll starts floating in the water, then remove the roll from the water. After cooling down for a while, cut the roll into desired pieces with a knife. Gatte is ready, now let’s know the process of making vegetables. Heat a spoonful of oil in a pan. In hot oil, add cumin seeds, bay leaves and fry till they crackle, then add chopped onions and fry till they turn brown. Now add tomato puree, turmeric, chili powder, salt and coriander powder and fry for 1 minute.

Now add curd and mix it with a spoon and add a cup of water and let it cook on medium flame for 2 minutes. Now add gatte and mix it by adding green coriander and garam masala.
