Here is the recipe for making delicious Upma

Upma is a very good option for breakfast in the morning. It is delicious to eat but it does not take much time to make. Upma is made and served fondly in many states of India. Especially kids of the house love to eat it and can make upma recipe for kids lunch box. Some vegetables are also added to it, so this is a postic recipe.

Upma is made from rava. Because of some mistakes, a soft analogy cannot be made. Today we are telling you the method of making the perfect Upma. All you have to do is read the recipe carefully and make quick upma in the morning breakfast and it is ready to serve. Upma is very easy to make and gets ready in no time. So let’s start making upma recipe in hindi without delay. You should take special care that you have to use 3 times the amount of rava that you are taking for making upma so that the rava can swell properly. Not much material is needed to make this, whatever material is required, we have given below.

Rava 1 bowl
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
1 onion (finely chopped)
Carrot 1 (chopped)
little green peas
Mustard 1 tsp
Chana dal 1 tsp
urad dal 1 tsp
cumin 1 tsp
curry leaves 8-10
Green chili 2 (chopped)
green coriander a little
oil 2 tsp
salt to taste

How to make Upma

To make Upma, first put rava in a pan and fry it on medium flame till it turns brown. When the color of the rava becomes light brown, then take it out in a bowl. Now heat two spoons of oil in a pan. Now add mustard seeds, cumin, chana dal, urad dal and fry for 20 seconds. Now add chopped chilies, curry leaves and ginger garlic paste and fry for 1 minute while mixing with a spoon. Now add onions, carrots and peas and fry for 1 minute, mixing well. Now add 3 bowls of water and add salt as per taste and close the lid of the pan. Now cook on full flame for 2-3 minutes so that the vegetables become soft. Now add rava and cook while stirring continuously. In no time the rava will have swelled. Now let it cook on medium flame for 2 minutes.

Now turn off the gas and take out the upma in a serving plate or bowl. Upma is ready to serve. Garnish it with green coriander and serve. If you want, you can decorate the upma by roasting cashew nuts and beans in oil. (Easy way to make quick pasta for kids)
